Inspired by Gibson’s prewar RB-4 banjos, the Limited Edition Retro 4 is Gibson’s response to the overwhelming popular demand for a contemporary banjo with such traditional features as a walnut neck and resonator, and equipped with chrome hardware. The inherent sonic sweetness of walnut is beautifully balanced with the snap of the Retro 4’s chromed tone ring, arm rest, flange, rods, and tailpiece.

A show favorite at the 2006 IBMA Awards, the Retro 4 is destined to become a true classic. Each banjo in this limited 40-instrument run comes with a certificate of authenticity.
