On August 24, 2009, at the Orlando City Council meeting, the Gibson Guitar Foundation presented a check to the City of Orlando representing the $186,546.37 in donations raised through the Orlando GuitarTown project to benefit local charities, Page 15, Parramore Kidz Zone, Central Florida Commission on Homelessness and the Downtown Arts District.  Orlando GuitarTown was administered by the Gibson Foundation
