Now here's a bizarre story: Billboard report that an ad on Craigslist has popped up where the seller claims to have some belongings from late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain for sale, namely a pair of skis (sans poles), a video game, and a phone. The person behind the ad claims to be a former roommate of Cobain. "I used to live with Kurt Cobain back in the 90s and I have been holding on to a bunch of his stuff that he left in a box when he moved out. He owed us rent and said he would get the box when he came back and gave us money but he never came back," part of the Craigslist posting reads.

Whether the ad is legit or not is up for debate, but the seller did give some additional information about himself, and the validity of the items for sale: "i am sure it would be easy for you to think that this stuff is fake, but i have pictures of kurt with some of it and i have som [sic] friends that will talk to you that will say that this is kurts stuff. we lived together in capitol hill and for a short time in olympia," the ad reads. Personally I have a hard time picturing Cobain flying down a mountain on a pair of Atomic skis while playing video games in the ski-lift on his way up, but I guess anything's possible.
