It’s official. While the hype had been steadily building over the last month – they debuted a new song during a live set over the weekend – The Killers have released their first new song in five years. Titled ‘The Man’, the new single is a precursor to the Las Vegas synth-rock act’s new album Wonderful, Wonderful, reportedly due in September.

Brandon Flowers and Co. have revealed that they worked with producers Jacknife Lee and Stuart Price on their fifth studio album, the first since 2012’s Battle Born. According to a press release, Wonderful, Wonderful is the the band’s “most sonically forward-thinking record yet; an LP bursting with all of the blazing choruses and arena-filling anthems”.

While the actual album release date has yet to be revealed, The Killers are currently on tour all the way through to October 2017. After wrapping up a run of European dates in July, the Killers will also play Lollapalooza in August and the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.
