Back in 2007, Bruce Springsteen showed up for an encore of “The Promised Land” and “Rosalita” at his own tribute show, while Michael Stipe, Peter Buck and Mike Mills took the stage with Patti Smith in 2009 to close out the show in R.E.M.’s honor.
Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel have reunited in N.Y.C a few times before. Maybe they could both turn up for just one song together?
