Today will see the release of Wembley Or Bust, the new concert film and live album from Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Earlier this week, Lynne and band announced their first-ever tour of the US in more than thirty-five years. Lynne’s last tour of North America was in 1981.

The new tour will see Lynne and ELO play nine dates across the US in August 2018. The tour will kick off in Oakland, California and will make stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Rosemont, Detroit, Toronto and New York, before wrapping up in Philadelphia. In a statement announcing the new tour, Lynne said, “Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. We can’t wait to play for them again.”

Lynne revived the band in 2014, after a hiatus of three decades, releasing a new album Alone In The Universe in 2015 and earlier this year, the band were inducted into the Roll And Roll Hall Of Fame.
