Dave Grohl has worn many hats, from music-making to directing, and now, the Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer has a new job title: talk show host.

The ES-335 player will guest host the Halloween edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" tonight. Also appearing on the Oct. 31 episode will be Kristen Bell and musical guest Alice Cooper. Having both Grohl and Cooper on this episode should make it epic.

Kimmel is taking time off from hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" as he gets ready for his six-month-old son Billy's second heart surgery. He and his family are also currently dealing with the "common cold."

"As a precautionary measure, the scheduled second heart surgery for Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy had to be postponed this week due to the common cold," a press release stated.

Other guest hosts this coming week include Shaquille O'Neal, Channing Tatum and Jennifer Lawrence.

In other news, Foo Fighters headlined the Voodoo Music and Arts Experience festival last weekend. They're back on the road for more North American tour dates starting Nov. 7 in Madison, Wisconsin.
