The Independent reports that a film (called Life Through a Lens) on the life of famed photographer Annie Leibovitz will be shown for the first time in the U.K. next week. The Independent writes, "For years she has photographed the rich and famous but kept her own life strictly private. Now a new film opens the shutter on Annie Leibovitz's drug addiction, love life and delayed motherhood." Check it out here.

Rilo Kiley's five-foot-tall pop powerhouse, Jenny Lewis, has rolled up her sleeves to begin work on her second solo album, and none other than Elvis Costello is lending a helping hand on a track, Spinner reports. The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson, M. Ward, and actress Zoey Deschanel are also rumored to be involved in the project. If it's anything as fantastic as Lewis' 2006 Rabbit Fur Coat, we can't wait!

Martin Scorsese to Make Bob Marley Documentary

Variety has announced that famed American film director Martin Scorsese will direct an as-yet-untitled documentary about Bob Marley's life. "I am thrilled that the Marley family will finally have the opportunity to document our father's legacy and are truly honored to have Mr. Scorsese guide the journey," Ziggy Marley said. The film will be released in Feburary 2010 on what would have been Bob Marley's 65th birthday.

Willie Nelson, who will turn 75 this year, recently said that he's taken up jogging in a bid to improve his health. In a great interview with Spinner.com, Nelson said, "I have started running. What I was trying to do was do at least as much good in the daytime as I was destroying in the nighttime. But it got to the point where I was losing ground. I had to start trying to stay alive or I was going to die. So I've had to give up the smoking and drinking. And when I quit that and started running, I got a lot healthier."

Law & Order Star to Be Marvin Gaye

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Law & Order cop Jesse L. Martin will play Marvin Gaye in a biopic called Sexual Healing, set to begin filming this April. More recently, Sopranos star James Gandolfini also signed on to the film, as both producer and actor. Gandolfini will play Gaye's promoter Freddy Cousaert.
