Several of David Bowie’s guitarists recently spoke with Music Radar about working with the pioneering artist. Earl Slick, who was integral to Bowie’s mid ‘70s albums, talked about his work on “Stay,” from the 1976 LP, Station to Station. “It was a riff I came up with because David had us working on a new arrangement of his song, ‘John, I’m Only Dancing,’” Slick explained. “But what I came up with was such a huge hook that he immediately turned it into a new song.”
