Bus Ambassador - Driver

Gibson Brands, the world¹s premier musical instrument manufacturer and the home of such preeminent brands as Gibson, Epiphone, Baldwin and Wurlitzer, is looking for a Bus Ambassador to join the Gibson Outreach team. 
Position Summary
Qualified candidates will have experience driving entertainment coaches for high profile entertainers and/or corporate executives. Position requires driver to have flexible hours (including weekend, holidays and evenings) and will involve heavy travel.  Driver must have all required licensing and will be responsible for following all DOT and IFTA regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed
  • Follow traffic laws
  • Load/unload passenger luggage or cargo
  • Maintain or repair cargo or passenger vehicle
  • Maintain records, reports, or files
  • Monitor variables affecting route activities
  • Move or lift heavy objects
  • Operate highway passenger vehicles
  • Oversee work progress to verify safety or conformance to standards
  • Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
  • Provide customer service in surface transportation
  • Service vehicle with water, fuel or oil
  • Transport and ensure safety of passengers or cargo
  • Use established traffic or transportation procedures
  • Use hand or power tools
  • Use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation
  • Use two-way radio or mobile phone
  • Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment
  • Any other assigned duties or essential job functions

Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Drivers must be computer literate including typing skills and email
  • Ability to prioritize, think fast and problem-solve on the fly
  • Ability to work responsibly under minimal supervision

Physical Demand

  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Compliance with company attendance standards
  • Pass a required bi-annual executive physical examination
  • FLSA status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
