Credit Deductions Analyst

Gibson Brands, Inc., the world’s premier manufacturer of musical instruments and professional audio equipment is seeking a Credit Analyst/Deductions Specialist to join our team.  This is a non-management position.  The Credit Analyst/Deductions will report to the Global Director of Credit. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment, willingness to learn and grow with the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deduction management with large volume big box accounts. A Must.
  • Contacting customers with delinquent accounts and initiating appropriate actions.
  • Maintaining records.
  • Performing daily credit check functions and initiating new account setup, including credit checks and credit approval.
  • Deduction analysis and resolutions.
  • Communicating with appropriate contacts internally and externally concerning delinquent account status.
  • Administering routine for timely resolution of balance dues.
  • Prepare monthly and daily reports on Deduction Resolution, CIA Orders Pending, Big Box and International Distributor credit availability.
  • Working on special projects as directed by the Global Director of Credit.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of credit and collections experience in a commercial and/or manufacturing environment with emphasis on large retail / Big Box accounts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline is strongly preferred.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in Excel spreadsheet builds and functions.
  • Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • SAP ERP system experience preferred.  AX, AX, SAP, GP
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact with a varied range of people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Deduction analysis and resolution with retail Big Box accounts strongly preferred.
  • Strong commitment, willingness to learn, and grow with organization.
