AUSTIN, TEXAS- Award Winning and Texas-raised jazz and R&B artist, Norah Jones, signs a Gibson showcase guitar for the Austin GuitarTown project. The guitar, titled “Flower Power”, was created by local visual artist, Julie Ann McDonald.

The public arts project will unveil a series of 10 foot tall Gibson guitar sculptures and showcase guitars in a special ceremony in November 2006. At the end of the project, the guitars will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefiting four Austin charities.
