AUSTIN, TEXAS- Emmy nominated actor, Kyle Chandler, who plays Coach Eric Taylor on the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights, stopped by Gibson’s Austin Showroom to sign a 10 foot tall Gibson guitar sculpture Twinkle Twinkle Lone Star designed by visual artist Amanda Dunbar for the Austin GuitarTown project, a public arts project benefiting four area non-profits that will be unveiled in late November.
The Austin GuitarTown project will unveil all of the guitars in a special ceremony, open to the public, on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 4 PM at City Hall. At the end of the project next Fall, the guitars will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefiting four Austin charities.
